The Story of Hamilton Vault Studios

Three years ago, Jenn, our founder, a creative business owner with a background in marketing, had a vision: a space where creativity could grow without breaking the bank.

She wanted a self-contained studio for herself, a place to shoot content that felt truly her own.

When she discovered 1 Hamilton Square and saw its potential as an exhibition space, she didn’t hesitate. Rolling up her sleeves.

She transformed the disused basement into a vibrant creative hub, offering affordable studios and a gallery that champions emerging artists finding their voice.

A Former Bank Vault Becomes a Creative Space

Within the basement was an unexpected treasure: a former bank vault full of character and potential.

Over time, we created four self-contained studios, while The Vault at the heart of the space was transformed into a gallery and filming location, welcoming all kinds of creatives to explore, exhibit, and bring their projects to life.

Our Ethos

The Vault has become home to group shows, solo exhibitions, film projects, and four incredible creative businesses.

It’s a place where ideas are shared, risks are taken, and creativity flourishes.

Everything we do is a simple ethos: to support artists from all disciplines in reaching their creative potential, and to open our doors so the public can experience the incredible talent within our walls.
